Quilt Sister Cruise #1 - Day Four - Sea Day

Our second Sea Day dawns and I want to start it out in the dining room.  Something luscious to begin the day.  Also, I have my new list in hand and am ready to rock this scavenger hunt.

A crazy, delicious yogurt parfait arrives, with coffee and is followed up by bacon and a skillet cake that is literally to die for.  So, so good.  I wish they still sold cookbooks like they used to.  I really want this recipe.  This is also check mark #2 - my breakfast plate.

Sherri's eyes are bothering her and this finds us waaaaay down in the bottom of the ship on deck 0.  The hospital.  Lucky for her, they have just what she wants but while I wait, I'm wandering around.  The staff notices and asks if we would like to go into some of the rooms and see through the portholes close up.  Absolutely.  I've never been right down at the water's edge.  It's just right there!!  Wow.

Now, the eyes are better and we are on track.  Let's start marking things off.  During our exploration yesterday, we found the Havana Club area and with just a little luck of needing to use the restroom, we are able to get past the "wristband only" doors.  A quick peek nets us our third check mark - photo of all adults (no kids) in a hot tub.  Done.

We are now on the hunt for the ship's coin and I have to tell you --- it was quite the wild goose chase.  So many people told us different places of where it was and we looked and looked and looked.  Finally, I found the cruise director, Kyndall, and she set me straight.  Within moments, we had our picture.  Check #4

While up in this area of the ship, perhaps we can tick off a couple more items.  Picture of something with a fish on it - Look closely -- check #5.  Back to lido and this gentleman has his wife's permission to take a selfie -- #6 is a great mustache.  I didn't photo-bomb, but we did get the picture.

Check mark #7 - photo of a stranger that looks like Santa Claus!  In fact, his wife said that one time a little girl just kept staring at him until the mother came up and told her that her daughter truly did think he was actually the man.  Next on our list is "man in a speedo - photo-bomb opportunity" -- Done and thank you Sherri.  #8.

Out on Lido, our steel drum player is once again on stage and lets me check off "selfie of you and any of the musicians on the ship" so that #9 is tackled.

A selfie with a stranger napping in public gets me #10.

Gathering with friends.  I truly love these moments.  We are just hanging at the Red Frog Rum Bar and no one is drinking.  The Hairy Chest Contest will happen soon and we have perfect viewing spots.

Okay, so the spa, the library, the doctor office, anywhere that magazines could be has been checked.  The Lido deck as well.  We have to resort to some rereading of the task.  It says, "Photo of a magazine cover with a Kardashian on it."  We can do that.  #11 marked off and it's our secret how.  Food porn --- (there is a worse picture, but Sherri owns it and I'm not sharing here) gives me check mark #12.  Now, I'm still having to work these items.  The others go off to get some lunch and leave their belongings behind.  Aha.  Sherri has her hexies right here next to me.  Do you suppose I could get someone to work on one while I take a picture?  SCORE.  #13 of someone, not one of our group, doing any type of handwork in a deck chair.

With a heads up from the gals after I returned with my lunch, I am on the hunt for #14.  Finding him at the back of the ship gives me #15 - someone in a ship robe in public.  While walking back to the group, I spot Sam jamming to the music and take her picture for #16 sneak pic of someone in our group.  I am down to the last four.  Woohoo!!

Taking a break to eat this wonderful lunch.  It's just what I'm wanting right now - kind of light and yet, not.

So, one of our items on the list is to find someone with multiple buckets of beer.  This one takes some engineering to happen.  This family is sitting with a bucket of beer on their table and I ask if they are going to order more.  They say that they are and I ask the waiter to leave the bucket, hoping that he will bring another and I will have my multiple.  He shows up with more beer for the bucket they already have.  Drat.  Claiming that there aren't any other buckets right now, I hunt down another one in the crowd and ask to borrow it just long enough for a picture.  Success and #17.  The Hairy Chest contest has begun and this gives me #18 - someone participating in the lido deck contests.  At one point, we even have one of the finalists wearing Gwen's hat.

With only two items left on the list, we set out to put our gifts from Debi to use.  Back to the room with glass covers and toothpicks in hand, this little dude greets us.  We have to get creative as the ship has banned drink umbrellas and our list says, "a selfie with a drink umbrella in your hair."  Well, mine is even quilty and I love it.  #19

A stop in the library bar to say howdy to those who are actually being productive.  I haven't even considered taking out my stitchery project.  However, the others are doing so well and making wonderful progress.  I'm kinda jealous.

So, the last item on the list is a casino photo of yourself or any of our group only if they are playing.  Sherri and I have our dollars and are ready to go.  It's a real issue when you can't figure out how to actually use the machines.  I had to get help and Sherri discovered that that handle really doesn't work at all.  It would have so super sweet had we won while doing these pics.  Hahahaha  But that's it --- #20 has been attained and my list is complete.

Karaoke is up next in the brewery and since I want to both watch and drink a beer, it seems like a no-brainer for me.  Apparently, Debi wants more than just a beer.  Wow.

These brave, brave women.  I admire them all so very much.

We have a great group watching a supporting and I have to admit that it really is such a great time.  Yes, it's the first time I've been to karaoke.

Tonight is the Electric White Party and I want to play.  That means it's white for dinner.  Once dressed, some fun photo shoot opportunities take place.

These threewere just so much fun to take ----

Dinner ---- yum.  I do so love the dining room.  AND . . . I won the scavenger hunt and received a pink power pack.  How cool is this!!!   Way to go Debi.

It's hard to get great pictures in the dining room, due to the lighting, but here are a few.

A stop on the way to the night show --- yep, skipped dessert again tonight.

Decent seats and two extra for Rocky and Debi when they arrive.

Let the fun begin.

And the fun just keeps going tonight.  It's time for the White Party.  Right in front of the man in the striped shirt at the lower edge of pic is our dear Paula, whom I join right after this snap.  We sing and dance and have a blast for over an hour.  And at that --- I'm pretty beat.  See ya tomorrow.
