In preparing for retreat last week, I made a list of the "constant" fabrics I would need for this and for Easy Street. Fortunately, Sew Krazee in Granbury was a huge help for me. I was able to pick up the orange with small red leaf, the solid black, an orange/red for border, and the red with black to add to some black and white that I picked up on my shopping trip with Allison and a few others that I already had. I think I have everything except the back - even binding. I am ready to go.
If you are interested in participating with us: here is the link to the intro: http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2005/06/orange-crush-intro.html It is a free pattern on Bonnie's website.
This is going to be one great looking quilt my friend! Hugs, Allison
ReplyDeleteI am actually pretty excited about this one. It is the first time I have been able to just grab and sew. Love it.
DeleteYour insanity must be contagious, I found myself cutting and sewing the four patches last night. And after telling myself I wouldn't all week
ReplyDeleteSo glad it is catching. I LOVE this quilt so far. Let's keep going and see what we get.
