A Day At The Beach - Clue 7
In the words of the Steve Miller Band, "Time keeps on slippin', slippin', slippin' into the future." At least it feels that way for me right now. It seems like each time I blink, another clue is being released. Am I typing fast enough?
Welcome to week 7. I bet you're thinking that we must be getting close now. Well, we are, but not just yet. This week we are going to put some of those bits you've been working on into use. I can see you nodding your head. Yep, I'm glad too.
PLEASE READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH THE CLUE BEFORE BEGINNING.

October Brazos Retreat - Our Witchy Quilt World
It's been almost 5 months since this wonderful view was mine. Hello there, old friend. It's so good to see you again.
The time has come for our October retreat entitled, "Our Witchy Quilt World." With a late arrival, I arrive around 10:30 and start racing like crazy to get set up by noon when the ladies will begin walking through the door. Luck is on my side and I make it just in time. As soon as most of the participants are there, we are off to Babes for lunch. Imagine our surprise when we discover that a table is already being held for us and occupied by Jennifer M. and Jennifer S. What crazy fun is this? They decided to drive down and have lunch with us. I LOVE IT!

Estate Sale in the 'Hood
As I am busy working away on the Surfside Beach blog posts, my sweet Mister asks if I'm going to run over to an estate sale in the neighborhood. It's 8:45 and it opens at 9:00. I'm still in my pajamas. Of course I was planning on going. Silly man. I had forgotten all about it and since it is day 3 of the sale (he forgot about days 1 and 2) I'm pretty dang sure that the little Wilcox and Gibbs he wants is no longer there. However, "Yes dear, I'll dress quickly and walk over there to check it out for you."
I arrive and am surprised that there are not more people in the house, assuming that most of the sewing stuff would be long gone. I was wrong and the amount of machines and supplies still remaining make me think that two days ago this would have be so fun to see. Oh well. Naturally, the machine he was interested in is no longer there but I peek around anyway. The first room has these toy machines in it. They are cute but I certainly don't need to start a new collection. Onto another room.
A Day At The Beach - Clue 4
Clue FOUR means that we have been together on this journey for a month now. Say it isn't so and that our lives are not racing by that quickly. Please.
I am back from a wonderful time at the beach with ladies that are so near and dear to my heart. We have laughed til our bellies hurt, cried a few tears together, and formed bonds that will hopefully never die. However, now it is time to get back to the real world and I'm ready, although reluctant.
I know it's repetitive, but PLEASE read all the way through the clue before starting.
This week are two tried and true units for you but first, let's do some cutting.
Using Color 1, Light Green, cut 128 - 1 1/2" x 3" bricks.
