It's our last full day in Millersburg and a little sightseeing seems in order. The Victorian House was spotted by several of us and there is a desire to see it. Next door is the Glass Museum and that's been mentioned as well. Once the decision is made, I guess only three of us are interested and so away we go. We had laughed pretty hard over the way the prices are listed on their website but once we arrived, all was made clear. As we entered, it was as though time stood still here. I LOVE this place. Come along as we explore and I'll share a few tidbits that I picked up along the way. This staircase is beautiful! It is the first thing we see upon our entry into the Reception Hall. The staircase has seventy-eight hand turned spindles with acorns at its entrance. The staircase, of white oak, was made in Europe, with a craftsman sent over to install it. The twenty-two plaster lions, which are the Brightman Coat-of-Arms, were intact. Lee monogram is in four places on the cove. One hundred and eighty-six lions were stenciled on the wallpaper going up the stairs and down the hall.

AnnaLouisa's Quilt Shop Spotlight - Navarre, Ohio

While in Berlin, we stopped at Zinck's Fabric Outlet and a gentleman there recommended AnnaLouisa's to us, saying that it was, in his opinion, the best shop within an hour drive. You don't have to give me more than that. From Millersburg, it was about 45 minutes, but a really pretty drive.

Ohio Quilt Sisters Trip --- Days 5 and 6
Well, today is a bit dreary so we are staying put in the hotel. One would think sleeping in would be a good idea, but apparently my body doesn't agree. When I get to the work room --- it's empty. This is a pretty good picture, though. Take a minute to check out our surroundings. There is fun art on the walls and a full bar at the back. Have you been to a retreat like this?

Cotton to Quilts Spotlight - Louisville, KY

Our girls trip has arrived in Kentucky and are meeting up with more friends to join our travels. One of them owns Cotton to Quilts in Louisville and we are all meeting up here. She is honoring all ladies wearing tiaras today so that is an added bit of fun. Irene has the ONLY quilt shop in Louisville. Crazy, right? But, oh so cool at the same time. Here is a peek around her store and PLEASE stop in if you are in the area. Not only is the store fabulous, but so is the area it is located in. In the picture to the right, she is the one on the left in the gray top. Now for the eye candy.

Our 2023 Girls Trip has commenced and the first stop is at Bedwarmer Quilt and Sew in Benton, Arkansas. We won gold (of the three car caravan) and managed to get Chuck the Duck into the picture as well.
