Crystal Beach Retreat - Days 6 & 7

It's another gorgeous day at the beach where no one cares what time it is and are only guided by the growling in our bellies.  Life is good.  I spotted this online and need to make it happen some time.

Yes, I am sewing

But I'd rather not be so it doesn't last.  After some talk, we decide to head back to Galveston for dinner and to pick up more dresses.  My kind of day.

Ferry and shopping first -

Then - we are off to dinner.

Oooooh -

Yep, yep, yep - Espresso Martini and oh so good.

We are short a few, Sharron went home, Stephannie also had to quickly head back home, and Lori opted out.

This is just sooooo good.

Dessert trio to share --- looks amazing, right?

The ferry ride back after dark - a whole new view.

19th -  Well now - I have to admit I wasn't entirely sure about the ghost in our room as I woke up, but it can stay.

After another super relaxing day, we are at Stingaree for dinner.  Yes, it is upstairs.

Prickly Pear Mule

This looks like something to be investigated (sadly - all were empty)

Not the ocean - the channel.

A few more pics of the area

Then back to the house in time for sunset.

AND - I taught anyone who wanted to learn - cinnamon rolls.  Done around midnight.  Crazy, right?
